1000 Islands Charity Poker Run 2019

Charity poker is a tax on the willing poker players of Chicago, and all over Illinois who come out to support local charity poker eve nts run by Charitable Organizations that support great causes. Please continue to support local charity poker by attending these charity poker events, and by donating a little bit of time to an organization of. 19th Annual Rocky Point Rally – Nov 7 – 10, 2019. Nov 7 - Thursday: Registration. Charity Poker Run. Kick-off Bike Night @ Banditos. Calle 13: Nov 8 - Friday. The 1000 Islands Charity poker Run is intended to be a safe family-friendly event. There will be many things to experience, both on and off the water. Expect more ‘slow zones’, allowing for participants and spectators alike to have a clear view of the boats at a safe distance. 100% of all donations and proceeds will be going to charity. We've all done it. Signed up for a poker run, get three cards in and have a crap hand and lose all enthusiasm for the remainder of the ride. Now, honestly if you sign up for a charity poker run with the expectation of winning and coming out ahead, then you're probably doing it for the wrong reason. Philanthropy, friendship and caring: these three words perfectly sum up the philosophy of the 1,000 Islands Charity Poker Run. The third annual installment of the event took place in upstate New York in 2019, in a cozy, slow-paced community known as Clayton, where the population is less than 2,000 residents.
